Bucks County Soapstone Company had its roots in the cabinet making trade. The skills needed in building cabinets lend themselves well in making sinks, countertops, fireplace surrounds, etc. Since we started making countertops in 1981, we have watched the demand for soapstone tops grow steadily, especially as more people see soapstone on Hometime, This Old House and the Martha Stewart programs. Because of this renewed interest in soapstone, you will see our countertops displayed in many of the custom kitchen showrooms in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. We are the only company specializing in soapstone in these states. |
| One more of our custom creations. This like most other specialty sinks was created due to the job conditions. The window was lower than the countertop level so we resolved it in this way. What special condition can we work out for your kitchen project?

Soapstone is the perfect finishing touch when you are into the details. This kitchen is built by Roger Wright of Blooming Glen, PA. The home is located in Bucks County, PA.
Notice the veining on the soapstone and the painted cabinet interiors. Roger Wright builds reproduction kitchens with authentic looks. |

Your dilema...you have a beautiful stone wall and you don't want a backsplash. It sounds like you need the craftsmanship only available at Bucks County Soapstone. We will fit to your stone walls or your old plaster walls. We want it to look this good.
Be sure to see our new display with a stone backsplash, it is quite unbelievable. We just had it at the Historic Home Show in Valley Forge and the attendees were amazed with the quality of our fit.

We built this huge island with 2 pieces of stone. The size is 75 inches x 79 inches. The seam runs from right to left directly at the post notch. The customer and the kitchen dealer were amazed with our seams. You will be too. |
